I'm Emily Shaw, a podcast strategist, producer, and editor based in San Francisco. I delight in producing fresh, authentic audio content independently and in partnership with brands and private clients.
What defines my style? Deep listening. Playful curiosity. Beautiful sound design. Vulnerability. Honesty.

I got my start in audio conducting a rogue oral history project in Vietnam in 2013. Later on, I honed my interviewing and sound design chops as the host and producer of Cozy Boat, an intimate, music-infused podcast about creativity and passion. Since then, I’ve produced original content for brands such as Pandora, Clear-Com, and Uber, and story edited podcasts such as A Therapist Walks Into A Bar, Working Sunday, and Oxide.
I’m also the founder of Podcast Parlor, a Bay Area community of over 140 producers who break bread, share and workshop audio, and support each other's development at locally-hosted "Podlucks" and online.
I can't wait to see what we'll create together. Have an idea? You can drop me a line here.
